Andrew Morton to step down from Weston Beamor and Domino Jewellery after a defining 18 years

Andrew Morton to step down from Domino Jewellery

After 44 years in the jewellery industry and 18 at the helm of Weston Beamor and Domino Jewellery, Andrew J Morton has announced he will leave his role later this year.

Andrew joined the group in 2008 and has led it through a period of considerable change in UK jewellery manufacturing. His tenure has been defined by a sustained commitment to British manufacturing, to the people behind it, and to building partnerships with retailers and brands that endure beyond any single transaction. Under his leadership, the group has invested consistently in skills, capability and capacity, while keeping a clear focus on what its customers actually need from a manufacturing partner.

Over the past two decades, much of the UK jewellery manufacturing base has consolidated, offshored or quietly contracted. Weston Beamor and Domino Jewellery have taken a different path, continuing to invest in skilled manufacturing in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter and in the integrated capability that comes with it. That choice has shaped both businesses, and the position they hold in the market today reflects it.

Andrew Morton said:

"After 44 years in this industry and 18 with the group, this feels like the right time to step back. The businesses are in good shape, the team is the strongest it has been, and there is real momentum behind the work underway. I'm proud of what we have built, and prouder still of the people who built it. It has been a privilege to lead Weston Beamor and Domino Jewellery, and I have every confidence in what comes next."

Weston Beamor and Domino Jewellery remain focused on the work that defines them: skilled manufacturing in Birmingham, long-standing customer relationships, and the integrated capability that sets the business apart.
